What is the Florida DOR property roll?
Every year each Florida county property appraiser submits its tax roll to the Department of Revenue. The name-address-legal (NAL) file lists every real property parcel with its owner, assessed and market values, exemptions and building details. It is a public record under Florida law.
How current is the data?
The Department of Revenue publishes the roll once a year, after the counties certify it, so ownership reflects the most recent roll loaded into LLCDrop rather than same-day deed transfers.
What does absentee owner mean here?
A parcel is marked absentee when the owner does not live at the property, typically a rental, second home or investor holding. Absentee owners are a common target for property managers, contractors and investors.
